In 2005, the Peer Mediators developed the Fairview Falcon Award for good play skills.   Today, the Falcon Award continues to be something that all students strive to be nominated for each Friday during morning announcements.  Not only are children nominated for their excellent play skills but Teachers nominate children who are demonstrating overall great character.  By the end of the year, there are over 100 students and staff who are recognized during the Awards Assembly for having received the Falcon Award.
